Zohar Atkins

Zohar Atkins is a former visiting fellow with the Mercatus Center's Program on Pluralism and Civil Exchange. Atkins is a rabbi, poet, scholar, blogger, and podcaster.  He is the founder of Etz Hasadeh: A Center for Existential Torah. He is a Rhodes Scholar, an Emergent Ventures Fellow, and a Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America. Zohar is the author of two books, Unframing Existence (on Heidegger) and Nineveh (poems), as well as a Bible commentary, forthcoming. He writes two substacks, Etz Hasadeh and What Is Called Thinking and hosts the podcast Meditations with Zohar.
