Lectures in Economic Sociology — Peter Boettke & Erwin Dekker

On this episode of the Hayek Program Podcast, we continue a series of lectures on topics in economic sociology, recorded in the fall of 2020 and hosted by Peter Boettke. He is joined in this episode by Erwin Dekker as they discuss the unique ways in which the study of both art and economics overlaps to provide insight into current and historic social tensions. They also discuss how incentives prioritize distinctiveness in the art world, and Erwin explains his research in bringing a socioeconomic perspective to the artistic realm.
