Bloomington School of Political Economy III: The Continuing Relevance of Institutional Analysis

Hayek Program Senior Fellow Jayme Lemke recently shared a series to explore the core ideas and methods that drive the research of the Hayek Program.

For the third installment of this series, Lemke interviews Hayek Program Director Peter Boettke on another one of these core approaches: the Bloomington School of Political Economy. This research tradition was established by Elinor Ostrom, Vincent Ostrom, and other scholars in the Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis at Indiana University Bloomington.

In this video, Lemke and Boettke discuss the continuing relevance of the Ostroms’ research program and the Bloomington School to today’s research in political economy.
